First Twenty Days: April 1-20th
Character; Ryhu, Eighth Prince of the Ahriad Forest Dynasty
Standing; Technically the inherit King, though the Dynasty has long since disbanded and has been destroyed.
Back story; The five elven lands were known as the 'Great Dynasties', with each at peace and on different continents. Until recently, they knew no war, no famine, no starvation, and little disease. However, two of these kingdoms have all but been wiped out by illness, one by poisoning of the very earth against them, and two by genocide.
His seven older brothers killed in the genocide of the Ahriad kingdom, an infant Ryhu was whisked away by an injured lady in waiting after the rest of the royal family, deep into the forest uncharted by normal man. The lady in waiting found the grounds of a large mansion in what was supposed to be unexplored territory, though rather than question who may be the owner, she was forced to leave the young prince on its doorstep and retreat back into the forest, to fade back into the earth with her death.
As it so happened, the doorstep on which young Ryhu was left happened to be owned by a young vampire named Raift, who had retreated into the forest in an attempt to abstain from the temptations of human blood. At finding the infant's odd appearance, and the fact that the blood pumping beneath his skin held no appeal for him at all, he came to the conclusion that he would raise the child.
For several years, there was happiness. Eventually, Ryhu learned to communicate with the more spiritual creatures of the wood(the fairies, the nymphs, the dryads, and so on), and grew very close with his guardian. He grew quickly line any normal child, despite his odd appearances, though once he reached the age of twenty, his body seemed to stop any aging process, as if suspended in time.
Raift, however, did not notice this. As he had cut himself off from the supernatural world in isolation, he really had no idea about his young ward's supernatural side, having though Ryhu odd, yes, but not of an entirely different species than a human. He began to fear the other rejecting his vampiric nature...and one day, completely left the elf without a trace.
Now, we must understand...Ryhu had grown a good bit dependant on Raift, and when the vampire left him, a certain amount of anger from the betrayal filled him. Enough to make him want to hunt down the older male and give him a decently pissed off piece of his mind. So, this leaves us with a rather long hunt for the elusive vampire, following Ryhu through his story and experiences of such.

Twenty Days -Fey Style-
This is actually a project that came out of M. Spond's genius.
Twenty Days is a project that follows the blogs as one's own character for twenty days of a month, in which, one writes as their character, in a journalish style. If someone would like to join in the fun, she's already expressed that she'd like to know, so tell her! That way we can all have one great time together, right?
So let's all start writing! The project starts off on April 1st, though if you miss the beginning....I guess you could start off on whatever day we're on? I'm not sure. I guess you'll have to ask her about it, but she's a really great person to talk to about anything, pretty much.
So, here's the original:
